2011 Poetry Chapbook Competition

  • Entries must be between 32 – 40 numbered pages, excluding title page, table of contents, acknowledgments page. One-inch margins, 12-point font, and only one poem per page.
  • Manuscripts as a whole must be previously unpublished.
  • Translations will not be accepted.
  • Manuscripts must not contain any identifying information. Include a separate cover page with name and contact information, including an email address.
  • Entries must include a $15 reading read (made out to Iron Horse Literary Review). Fee includes a one year subscription to IHLR.

Iron Horse Literary Review is a journal of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. It is published six times a year at Texas Tech University (Lubbock, Texas) through the support of the TTU President's Office, Provost's Office, Graduate College, College of Arts and Sciences, and English Department.
